Our Rating System
Our ratings system is pretty simple. We personally play every game we release. We truly believe it's not fair to our clients if we are not going to war with them too. We keep it very basic so you will always know where we stand with wins and losses and current bankroll.
In October of 2009, We decided to reign in our ratings, generally going between 1 and 10 units to aide clients in money management. And the 9 and 10 unit plays are few and far between. Generally we only release them when we are playing and we see an opportunity to go for the jugular and especially when we have built a nice bankroll and playing with "my man's money". Remember, however, we feel we also have a responsibility to manage your bankroll and that's why we take into consideration how we have been doing when we release larger plays. Of course we have no control over when customers become customers, but when we sense an opportunity to go for the jugular, we don't pass it up as long as we remain steadfast to our money management principles and bankroll allocation.
Once again, money management is the key to winning, knowing what percentage of your bankroll to play on each release. But, first and foremost, always remember to never wager more than you can afford to lose. This is the single biggest problem gamblers make, and that's why we hammer this point home because we feel it's our job to educate as well, no different than what a financial advisor would do for you when purchasing stocks or mutual funds.
You have two ways of looking at our ratings. The first is based on the amount of your maximum wager size. The second is based on the amount of your total bankroll.
One of the biggest mistakes gamblers make is they get hung up on "winning percentage." We are here to tell you it means absolutely nothing because our plays are rated. You play them accordingly, using money-management principles, and when we are hot and on a roll you make money. But you've got to follow those principles all the way through for every play; otherwise, the ratings won't do you a bit of good.
When you see our NET profit figures here on the site, rest assured they're based on wins minus losses (including the juice we pay).
Maximum Wager Size Rules
Let's say your maximum wager size is $1000. Well, if we release a 10 unit play, then it should be a $1,000 wager. If we release a 1 unit play, it should be a $100 wager. And if we release a 3 unit pick, it should be a $300 wager, etc...
Total Bankroll Size Rules for Long-Term Players
Obviously, the key here is YOU have to decide what portion of your bankroll you can afford to lose each betting day for the length of your package. Call it "bankroll rationing" if you will.
Maybe you like betting the NFL more than college. Then, in this case, you'd want to allocate more to Sunday's card than Saturday's.
The bottom line is you want to have action throughout the length of the package, whether it be 1, 7, 30, 180, or 365 days. So, it's up to YOU to decide how much action you want on given days and on particular sports.
